This installation places voices and stories of participants in Dining Dreams, an ongoing dinner-club and performance series within a fictional space constructed with clothing, furniture, and other objects inherited from my own family. Gaining new agency over these beautiful and often burdensome, memory-filled objects through the similar stories of others, I construct new narratives about family, femininity, and spirituality growing up today. Installation on view at the Samuel Dorksy Museum of Art, Fall 2015.
